I too used the crosses the fuselage for marking the centers for the
tailplane torque tube and found mine off slightly(4mm) when measured from
the firewall per manual.  Good to check though.  Easy to adj. and bond in
place accurately.  You'd think since all the moulds come from the same
jig you wouldn't find that much variation?
