When I said clean out the bushes I meant clean out the inside diameter which
goes onto the TP4 Torque tube . The TP4 Tube is plated on the outside, and
you abrade the outside of the bushes to bond them in place.

Have I missed something here? I though the point was to polish the
bushes, not the torque tube. The bushes are stainless steel and are
going to be abraded anyway.

off
anyway !!!!
Never the less  it is best to really clean the inside of the relevant
bushes
with light emery cloth ,then apply a very light oil film to the TP 4
Tube.

Careful folks, the torque tube is nickel plated 4130 steel and if you
get
too aggressive with the "polishing" the underlying steel will be
exposed.
