Hi Andy,
The secret to this is don't do it at all. I used a hacksaw blade in a
simple hacksaw blade handle I purchased from the hardware store for $4.00.
I did do some with my Dremmel/Permagrit disc, but I found that I could get
far better control with the hacksaw blade. It typically took me 2~3 to trim
an edge like the aileron.
