Graham, Why do we want to put the fuel return up at the vent fitting rather
than down at the reserve side fuel outlet?

Ken,
I think part of the problem is the size of the vent line, too small. I am
planning using 1/2" line up to the vent, teed in to the XS filler  moulding
to allow quicker filling and syphon break, then onward through 1/4" pipe to
the breather which could be above or below the fuselage.  Havn't tried it
yet but I have made the tank fitting to enable it.
(3 NPT holes for tank breather, sight gauge breather and fuel return.
