OK, Here is my experience.  4,500 hours in single engine a/c.  all recip. 2/3
military.  Four engine failures.  ( All Military)  All landed. One an night. One
in
water sans floats. None from fuel starvation even though none had fuel filters
other than screens and fuel drains.

So what does that mean to me?  Still thinking about it.  Current plan is one 
good
filter with drain and a drain in each tank.  Am I ok?
