It's worth clecoing the top on to maintain the straightness of the aft half but it makes a lot of sense to leave the top off when working in the tub. Makes it possible to do many of the jobs properly, like setting up and adjusting the elevator travel and trim tab connection, almost impossible with the top on! Graham |
