The trouble with a bungee is that when you move the stick forward or back
the tension on the bungee will increase. So - why not a weight on a bar on
either side of the base of the stick, which can be moved out to increase the
(very slight) forces for trim, and will even work in the right direction
when you are upside down and need to reverse the trim factor (not that we
would voluntarily adopt this posture)
