In answer to below paragraph.
"Another thought is to build your extractor over an inspection hole
cover. I was thinking of using the one made for the tailwheel mod
(assuming it can be done without interfering with tailplane. If the
first design doesn't work too well it should be a simple matter to
modify it I hope."
That idea seems eminently sensible.
I have built No. 1 version very easily albeit guessing 'airfoil' shape.
The idea of the vents was to control flow of extraction. It's all a lot
of theory as yet but thankfully the concept is not too complicated to
fabricate or test.
I will E-mail the guy in Florida who started all this and see how they
have refined the design.
