Spar vibration and trailering.

One of my spar end (the bit outside the wing) can be seen to be vibrating
like a tuning fork when transporting on the standard trailer. The peak to
peak amplitude at the free end is about 50 mm and frequency around 10 hz.
Doesn't seem to be dependent on road surface, so must be driven by the air
impinging on the free end. Can't be good for the spar long term so must find
some way to damp it. Or mebbe deflect the incident air. Anyone else seen
this ?

Having a lot of repairing to do where the wings are held in the top of the
loop supports. Have discarded the black rubber (due to marking) but not found
a white alternative. Using carpet strips still gives abrasion, and soon wears
through and snaps (with disastrous results, unless the bottom of the loop is
supported by foam rubber or the like). Any good solutions around ?
