Hi George,

If you remove the wings on a Mono and do nothing else, it falls over.  If
you do the same thing on a Trigear or conventional, nothing happens!

I think this makes a significant difference to the ease of the process.

You are right: I did not specify monowheel, nosewheel or conventional
tailwheel. That is because I am flexible, as it may be that with one
configuration it is easier to remove and attach the wings. However, I doubt
whether this is the case. The replies I received have indeed given me the
impression that the type of undercarriage does not make much difference in
this respect.

The configuration I am most inclined to get is monowheel, as it is the most
efficient in flight as it is retractable. Thus it makes bes use of the space
between the two seats.
