Hi All,
The STB rudder cable exits the fuselage at about 13'' forward of the hinge line,
and yes ,it has to bend outwards slightly. As instructed in the Manual, use
a piece of conduit [ supplied, No BS116, which is the black rigid pipe, as used
for the brake line ] .
The pipe will have a bend set in it from being curled up on a roll, scuff sand
the outside of the pipe, and bond it in place, so the ''set'' guides the cable
---From the inside to the outside in a gradual curve.
Thread the cable through , and fix to the horn to align the tube, leave 1'' or
so of the pipe showing on each side.
Hope this makes things clearer ?
Cheers,
Nev.

Greetings all,

In an effort to get everything done before the top goes on I've been looking
at the rudder cable alignment. The manual calls for fairleads to be installed
in the rear bulkhead 1 3/8" left and right of the centerline and the same
distance from the floor as measured at the centerline. It also calls for the
starboard rudder cable to exit 13" from the horn, which is essentially at the
hinge

line. This alignment appears to make the rudder cable change course at the
bulkhead by about 15 degrees to starboard. Is this correct? I plan to use nylon

fairleads to reduce friction, but will I have a binding problem?
