That's not good! I have built and fitted the same in past few weeks and 
would be interested in the Manual Version that is correct.

You will be 'mocking up' a few times the latch mechanism and 'travel' 
before final fit. Simple question. Does it look anything like it is 
anything like an efficient 'shoot bolt' engagement. Others I'm sure 
will advise but it may be you can 'make up' this small shortfall by 
adjustment of Shoot bolt Fuselage housings.

In short Paul. I could well have done the same as you and sit here in 
innocence. My Door engagement seems very well retained with shoot bolts 
very well engaged.
