Just my 2 cents worth here:

The engine plays an extremely important role in the safety of your flight and in
the protection of your investment in that Rotax engine. The place to get cheap
is not in the area of the oil filter. Spend the money on the oil filter! 
Consider
it like paying for insurance. Whatever it costs is not significant in the
big picture.

Just my humble opinion!
