Being a slightly biased former 'in line' glider pilot - especially with the
UK weather being what it is I expect heavy crosswind landings are more
advantageous with the monowheel.
I'd personally prefer crabbing in and giving the plane quite a bit of boot,
just as the mono main wheel is about to touch.
Its got to be a lot better than being limited to the wing down approach of a
Tri-gear.
You can risk being late with the boot in the mono, but with two wheels down
on the tri-gear the battle of inertia is certainly lost.
