Hi All,

Mono, Tri-Gear? Building a plane is such an emotional thing, and thats
good. Otherwise we would all use our heads and go purchase a production
plane and have enought money left over to by fuel and insurance for 157
YEARS!!!

Seriously, I was headed to purchase a Lancair when I picked up a copy of
Kitplanes Magazine and when I opened it up there was a picture of a
mono-wheel Europa sitting the the grass. One glance at the picture and I
knew I had to build that plane. I really didn't care how fast it was, how
it climbed or anything else - I just saw it and that was that. In fact it's
not unlike when I first saw my wife!

I agree with Gary that performance etc. probably is about the same with Tri
or Mono (but I still want to race Gary!!) but the emotional thing just ain't
going to go away. How else can you explain all the guys who want to build
RV's!!!!!

P.S. Since this is all in good fun here goes;

Many of you know I have the Warner Brothers cartoon Roadrunner on my plane
and Cliff is Putting Wiley E Coyote on his. I also heard there was a Tweety
Bird at Sun

Pep'e La Pew - For the first Diesel
Tazmanian Devil - First Europa Monowheel to hit 10 groundloops
Porky The Pig - Any Tri-Gear

(oh am I going to hear about this)

Later guys - I most go flying!
