I am a new member in this group. I am a pilot and CFI based in Dayton, Ohio. I
am taking delivery of my Europa kit in three weeks!!
I have a few newbie questions I would like to ask this group:
My shop is almost ready. I have a double-car garage (24x18), and I have
installed heating, lighting and insulation as well as an extra electrical
circuit for the shop. Right now I want to build an 8'x4' worktable on wheels.
Does anyone have a design for this they can share? Is it necessary that it
have wheels?
I plan on making minor modifications to install nav lights and a landing
light. Where can I get more information on these modifications? Is there any
possibility of making additional modifications after the wings are closed?
Has anyone added an Angle of Attack Indicator?
What are my options for IFR? Will the 914 have enough juice to power an IFR
panel?
Any other final words of wisdom before I embark on this project?
I hope I can contribute more to this group once I start the project.
