I am pleased at the response so far regarding my Bump in the Flight.
Strangely every one has been different so far. It is reassuring though that I
am not alone with the experience.

Having proclaimed the 912s carb icing free, it was an emotional setback to
find that Bob at Europa Florida put their bump down to carb icing.
Particularly when I have flown various types in Florida which almost all have
none working carb heaters. ("We dont need those things out here"), Why should
our beloved Europa be the exemption I ask?

Does carb icing manifest itself with the odd bump. I thought it made the
engine run rough, and then stop. I have not experienced the stop state yet,
but I have had the rough engine bit.

Didn't see any fighters arround Roger, but I will keep looking.

Outriggers clicking home I can understand on the approach, but not in the
retract state on a mono.

I suppose it could be something not stowed properly in a rough patch, or
maybe it could be an outrigger bouncing off its retract position and back
onto it's seating. Mine do go right back as the flaps retract. I quite like
that idea, because it would make that sort of noise.

Please keep thinking, and thanks for the comments.
