Thanks Rolph, my comments re BRS were slightly tongue in cheek but having
read the Pilot article I could not get enthusiastic about a vertical descent
at `1300 fpm.
My concern would be adding more weight and complications. After 180 hours
with our Europa we are looking at ways to remove weight,ground runs at near
max.wt,become very long indeed as ambients rise. Talking about weight we flew
the Jabiru last week and were incredibly impressed with the engine if not the
aircraft. Had it been available when we were building there would have been
no choice....By the way this is a usefull builders forum but are there any
Europa flyers out there ,a pool of operating experiences would be
interesting.....
