Along the same lines, how about a thin gauge SS safety wire ( if it was the s
ide face that is glued )

inished gluing the spar sockets, but I am unable to withdraw the port spar o
ut of the starboard socket. I was able to get the bolts out quite easily. It
also doesn't look like the spar got glued to anything, because I am able to
rotate the spar, and wiggle it just but it won't slide out of the socket. W
hat I suspect is that some flox might have oozed into the inside face of the
socket which and might be preventing the bushing from sliding out. I grease
d everything, but did not grease the inside faces of the sockets. If all fa
ils I was going to cut the outer face of the socket to extract the spar. Per
haps I could reglue that face back in place. Any ideas would be appreciated.
