Hi Patrick,
I experienced significant problems with the PV50 control box that was due to 
relay failure.  (Power not reaching the motor)  Whilst in flight the prop 
became stuck at fully coarse.  Like you I returned the box to France with 
one of the relays malfunctioning, but when it was returned to me neither of 
the relays worked.  Eventually I gave up and installed one of Mark Burton's 
constant speed controllers.  In about 600 hours, I have never suffered 
another failure and the constant speed function is a great improvement on 
the manual control.  If you wish to investigate this any further, I suggest
