I think you will find that the 1/2" x 3 1/2" version is a "single ball"
pin. Our application requires a "two ball" pin.
OK guys, no further "ball" comments necessary. Lets keep our focus on
our aircraft and construction...
BTW, I have ordered two of the 1/2" x 4" heavy duty pins from
McMaster-Carr and will provide comments on them once they arrive.
