This may be a little bit also like the increase in the twin comanche with tip 
tanks. The fuel weight in the tips counters the wing bending moment and 
allows an increase in gross weight by about 150 pounds. It seems they say the 
increase in weight due to the wings is about 40 pounds, if the weight 
difference in their typically equipped numbers on the web site reflect that.
