True. But oil temperature is measured on the Rotax downstream of the oil
cooler. So, given that the cooler is dropping temperatures by about 15C (at
least it does on mine) then oil temps of 85C or so would be adequate for
removing moisture.
This does rather beg the question about just how hot the oil itself is
getting when the oil temp gauge says 130C (266F), the Rotax quoted maximum.
Makes a strong case for using nothing but synthetics and Mogas.
