G-NEAT has a Bob Archer comms antenna glued to the port fuselage side and it appears to work extremely well with my Icom panel mount. Since fitting the combination, no agency has ever reported bad reception. I regularly talk to ATC (RAF Shawbury) from over 30 miles away (Mid Wales). I also use a Bob Archer transponder antenna (glued to the stbd fuselage side) and it appears to work very well with a Garmin transponder. Mark |
