No it isn't. 0.1gm accuracy is what you need to weigh down to 30gms of resin.

Nothing wrong with a good quality carpenters level, they're accurate to 0.1 
degree. The most useful feature available with the original Smartlevel was 
to be able to zero the reading at any angle. Now they only zero at level. 
Control surface deflections can be checked with a home made protractor with 
a pendulum pointer. A little ingenuity can make it zero at any convenient 
angle which saves doing mental arithmetic and making mistakes.
