Interestingly the EIS from Grand Rapids logs hours when rpm is registered.
The elba fuel computer logs hours when there is fuel flow. So both units
give effective engine hour monitors. The pressure switch on the ASI is an
elegant trick which must give quite a good record of flight time and
therefor engine at high power time.
