Hi,
I would like to echo Mike's words to Pete Tom & Dave, I loved
ever minute of it and I look forward to the next adventure with this
great crowd, I take my hat off to them.
Bytheway after landing behind schedule at Lydd late on friday
2nd I had to stay at a b&b. Sat morning I set off at 8.15 for
Wolverhampton Biz Airport ( Posh or what!! ) but the weather was against
me and I had to put down at Wellsbourne. Time was running out, the
Goodyear airship was there ( Its base is WBA ) but was going in the
wrong direction.Mike Littler who runs Wellsbourne said he had a mate who
would get me a car. sure enough it appeared 5mins later and with a nod
and a wink I was on my way.As I pulled up on the drive of my abode the
front door opened and my other half transported me direct to the shower,
as I came out I walked straight into my Sunday best, there was now a
look of relief on her face as she bundled me in to her car and 20mins
later we were at the church for her best friends wedding. as I sat there
getting my breath back the Black Magic advert came to mind and as our
eyes met I new I had gained lots of brownie points_ _ _ Bless her.

                                              Regards
                                                           Kevin. ( The
lady love's )

    Hi guys
I was tempted to keep quiet about this, on the grounds that if word
gets out about how good it was, next time you will all want to come and
it will become a nightmare to organise.
WHAT A TREMENDOUS TRIP !!! for which I would like to record my
thanks to Peter Kember and Tom Justic for their part. Most of all
however a very big thank you to Dave Watts. Dave worked very hard on
behalf of us all, he never stopped smiling and I only hope that he and
his wife managed to enjoy it all as much as the rest of us.
I do hope that as a club we can look forward to many such trips in
the years to come.
Our own aircraft statistics are, 1,667Nm flown in 18H 12 min, using
204L of fuel.
    GREAT TRIP, GREAT AIRCRAFT.
    Mike Cater G-BVOW #84 :) :) :)
