I believe the SkyStar system is the standard unit fitted to the Challenger
aircraft.
As such it has been approved by the PFA for use on the Challenger.
Specific approval for the Europa may be required. Your inspector may be
able to help if you are unable to get hold of Francis ( who I know is
always very busy ).

PS I sold my SkyStar system to an Europa builder.
I am fitting a system which uses a series of magnetic switches acivated by
a float passing over them. They are mounted in a stainless steel tube which
fits the tank in a similar way to the Capacitance guages.

The sender can operate a standard guage or a row of LEDs or the auxilary
input on the Digital EIS.
The downside is there are only normaly seven switches rather than the
linear response of the capacitance unit. However seven seems to work fine.
