I made some stainless pin and strikers for center of door. Easy to do and works
great. Details on page 3:

I opted to leave gas strut in original position and install a pin and striker in
upper aft area. Probably on page two and three. Works well along with CF
stiffening.
When you close door it pushes down on the upper aft portion of the door!
Tangs can't be parallel with hinge line because of curvature of fuse.
See page 1, 2 and 3 for mutilation of that area with great results and minimal
gap.
