Sorry did I say 5ltrs I meant 25ltrs and as for the pump capacity I
really don't or want to know, it works well and with two of these
plastic cans and the pump I can usually fill the aircraft in a couple of
Mins. With no mess or risk of overfilling.

This raises two questions.

1. Do you only ever need 20 litres to refuel ? If I fly 2 1/2 hours I
need to put in 40 litres, and with only 20 litres of cans I would have
to do a double trip to the petrol station.

2. What is the capacity of the pump you are talking about ? I have a
spare Facet fuel pump which takes 10 minutes to pump the contents of a
20 litre jerry can into the plane. It only takes 75 seconds to empty the
can by lifting and using gravity. It is heavy though - and seems to get
heavier the longer I hold it - even if the fuel in the can is going down
:-)

To be honest I think 10 litre cans are a good compromise, but although
they are available they are as expensive or more than 20 litre cans.

:-)
