Hi Tony,
It could be done, but not quickly. I'd need to dig out the specc and get the
calc's
done. It's too crucial to not do properly. My gut feeling is that 2 plies
would be insufficient but I expect that a 3mm 6082 T6 or better plate would
do. Size to be calculated.

Thanks for your input. Could you specify quickly a thickness and size please,
and whether 2 plies of BID would be enough to retain it?
