Moving the balance box would be difficult because it needs to sit in that
area of no foam in the skin sandwich construction. BTW, when comes time to
bond the top skin on, Cut the tops off of the balance boxes. Then after cure
do a layup inside of the boxes to connect them with the top skin. This makes
sure you get the max clearance possible for the lead weights in aileron down
travel. Neville told me that one.

hi guys
I have found that the cut-out for the mass balance boxes XW52 will not line
up with the lead weights on the ailerons if I stick to europa`s
measurements,
if I move the balance weight a additional 20 mm from the outboard hinge it
would fit, so the question is do I move the balance weight to the right 20mm
or the balance box the same distance to the left,
Is it critical to have the aileron weights exactly 20 mm from the hinges?
