I had been flying an old certificated Cessna 140 taildragger. It had no
gyros to speak of. What was available for flight instruments: Compass,
airspeed indicator, vertical speed indicator, altimeter, nothing else. You
fly by looking out the window. It was a hell of a lot more fun to fly than
a fully instrumented 152.
