We had exactly the same problem. I think that this problem is related to
contamination of either the resin, the surface or the expancell filler.
When we mixed our resin it went immediately cloudy which was not a good
sign. I did some snap test samples on this resin and although it appeared to
be okay, there was a sticky film upon the surface.
I believe that there was also moisture in the filler too exacerbating the
problems. Basically the resin when mixed with the filler never set in about
3 weeks.
I had to use a steel brush and gently scrape it all out from between the
weave without damaging the structure. Not a procedure I wih to repeat. We
replaced the resin and have used polyfiber filler now but it i a little
costly.
