Brian,

The attachments should be stripped off by the mailing system but for some reason
this isn't happening. 

If you open them (generally not recommended but our firewall has a very 
agressive
virus scanner which is updated hourly) you will find that they are text files
added by whatever Virus software Graham has on his machine. They purport to
be an assurance that the mail is virus free but are really a thinly disguised
attempt by the virus scanner company to advertise its wares. IMHO, A company
which is dumb enough to do so by attaching files to e-mails is probably not the
best one to purchase virus scanning software from.

Don't know if it's just me, but all of your e-mails register as having an
attachment in my inbox.  As I understand, this isn't possible via the forum,
so can any of you experts on the wizardry expain why this is happening...in
plain English!!!  Just concerned about the virus threat...
