My Aircraft will not fly until next year so time will tell but I fitted
out everything I could before fixing XS 'top'.
It included for the Tri-gear the following:
Main Legs and Nosewheel Leg
Flaps Mechanism and Motor
Wing Rigging points and Tie bar (Did fit top temporarily to set and fix)
Baggage Bulkhead
Rudder Pedals and cables
Transponder Aerial to S/B side of Fuselage
Laid all wiring and secured. Fitted Strobe Unit and lower strobe.
Brake Pipes thro' to main Gear
Finally made up Top Fitting for Torque Tube Mass Balance parafenalia as
per GS Mod.
My only warning is to ensure the Fin is straight in relation to rest of
aircraft alignment as you prepare to bond. IMHO the 'Mk1 eyeball' is as
good a last check as anything and fit Tailplanes to add value to
alignment.
I'm sure there will be differing views so lets do battle. I've had a
crap day a need need a fight. It's a West Country thing!!
