Folks,
On my way back to the field tonight I began to realise I was pushing it to
get back to base and was looking at my options for a diversion. I calculated
correctly that I could make it back to base with around 15 mins of daylight
left. As I got back I was hoping that there was no severe rain showers or
low cloud over our field as that would mean a diversion from base would not
be possible.
This got me thinking IF I had to divert I wouldn't be able to see my
instruments by the time I arrived at a diversion location. I now feel I
ought to have a back up just in case for the future. Anyone got any
suggestions on suitable lighting post build.
