Hi! Bruce and Suzy.
Congratulations on first flight. Well done. If you felt anything like I did
your first reaction was "Thank God for that" Or at least something akin to
that !!!!!! Don't think you are finished though.
Incidentally I don't like the use of the word FINALLY .
By the way if your are still in contact with Andy tell him it's about time
he got his "bum" back here !!!!
Regards

Another one takes to the air FINALLY!
April 2, 2001 at Europa in Lakeland, FL(USA) a Europa XS monowheel 914
leaped into the air several seconds before her startled pilot was expecting
it. The first flight was short with the typical problem of overheating but
it was a marvelous first. For all you other Europa dreamers keep the faith
and it will happen!
Two days later the overheating has been alleviated to a great extent and
the numerous electrical problems seem to have been solved by a new battery.
Landings have been a bit dicey but we live to tell the tale.
Witnessed by Andy, Neville, Keith, and Jimmy Thursby as well as my very
patient partner Suzy. Russell Lepre and Bob Berube at Flightcrafters were
instrumental in their assistance and encouragement.
Hope to see everyone at Sun N'Fun.
