Spares. I have 1 off size 4, several each 5's, 6's, 7's, 8's and some 10's,
an 11 or two, a 12 and a 13! This sounds horrific, but I recommend a
fishing fly box, and I also recommend Not fixing the camlocks themselves.
The reason for this is that we have had a Europa based here at Shobdon
which had its camlocks fixed - and the cowlings were very difficult to get
off.

I tried Camlocs when putting 1/4 turn fasteners on my Europa but changed to
Southcos for two reasons:
1. The shoulder on the fastener is not very big and although OK with metal
panels I was concerned that with wear they might eventually pull through a
GRP panel.
2. The receptacles are very large creating interference between the upper
fuselage and the top of the instrument panel. They also caused unwanted
intrusion in other areas as well.
For anyone considering 1/4 turn fasteners I have produced a Europa Club mod
(PFA approved and available from Rowland Carson).
