Thanks Paul,

The fuel valve placed as per the manual puts it in an awkward place for me to
reach easily (next to my right hip) given my size. Yes I was considering the
front face of the thigh part of the seat pan in a position similar to some
Long EZs. The Manual wants the sight gauge to run a line along the bottom
right corner of the pilots space up to a vertical sight gauge next to the
pilots right knee. I didn't consider fuel vapors a problem as the manual
suggested method runs the line thru the same general area. Do you think the
valve is subject to leaking? Ideally, the shortest run to the fuel valve
would be best and in front of the thigh rest is a little ways to go. The
Liberty demo has the valve recessed in the top of the center tunnel right
about the middle of the pilots forearm. I would like to keep the valve as low
as possible so I don't like that position. I can reach into the passengers
space easier than I can next to my hip so maybe over there?

Another question, my Manual shows the fuel vent on top of the fuselage. The
XS doesn't do that, right and I haven't found in the manual where the vent
should go now. Do I have maybe the pages for the Classic vent in my manual?

I saw your post regarding the rudder cables and I am waiting to see any
answers as I am also at that point. As soon as I get the tailwheel/rudder mod
---From Graham Singleton which is in route.

Bill
