Quite so. The best plan would be to convert the brakes to hand operated, 
using two fingers of the throttle hand to operate the two levers. Have a 
look at a BanBi, There is at least one Europa using this system,in the UK I 
believe and even Ivan Shaw was impressed. He used it on the Liberty.
