Paul,
also the transponder antenne can easily be put into the fuselage; either with
ground plane or a balanced dipole.
I put my TPX shark fin antenna with ground plane inside the back of the
fuselage next to the wooden bulkhead (guide of the elevator counterweight).
Works perfectly.
