Take hammer in right or left hand as appropriate. Accelerate heavy end of
hammer towards end of roll pin. Avoid fingers. You may want to leave the
roll pin out until you have done the mass balance adjustment.

Installing turnbuckles in the wires will help you regain your sanity. Do the
same with the rudder and tailwheel wires.
