I am very interested in your development. I had a quick look at the
existing mechanism and it looked difficult. It seems to me that one
would need to change the lever ratio so as to arrive at the locked in
position at 18 degrees. This would then mean that the torque transmitted
via the flap would also increase. It seems a desirable objective as one
could optimise the take-off flap to 18 degrees and also simplify the
gear retraction system so that it just has actuate the wheel retraction.
If you make any progress I should be very interested to hear of it.
Similarly a simple electical retraction of the outriggers would be
interesting.
