One thing I forgot to mention. When you achieve an ideal weight for the test
layup, you then have an example of what correct resin to glass ratio looks like.
Another point, try and keep all fibres straight. Fibres can not resist
compression when they are bent, and compression is the usual failure mode of GRP
parts.
