I bought Kim Prout's wheel fairing. The forward half of the fairing,
attached to the swingarm, has flanges on the sides that fit flush to the
fuse in the retract position. Its easiest to install the fairing flat up
against the swingarm which puts the fairing flange flush with the fuse
bottom.
BTW, Steve Hagar's mono up stop sure works well.
