I just kept measuring it with a pair of calipers while I was fitting it and
doing the layup. I tried the measurements both from the center of the bolt
and from the edge, both seem to work, but have slight uncertainties.
Now that everything is as hard as stone, the bolts seems to have the same
distance to less than a mm.

BTW, while I am talking about ailerons: I measured the twist in the ailerons
one final time before I put the ailerons away until I have wings to attach
them to. The twist has changed since I layed them up! One now has a twist
of 0.6 degrees, and the other has 1.6 degrees rather than the 1.1 they are
supposed to have!!! Does anyone know what I can do? Clamp them down and
postcure? How hot?

What are people using for piano hinge lubrication? I was using a teflon spray,
but I was wondering if there was anything better.

Brian
