Same here, once all is installed, especially wires, the panel really fills up
fast
behind. Perhaps consider thinning out the cushion behind your back by 2 inches.
Not much is needed for comfort and you gain 2 inches space and can possibly
stretch out one of your feet between both rudder pedals while in cruise
