Hi Glenn

I have just done all my bushes and replaced the shockers and pins. I
could not imagine doing it in situ! I found it difficult enough to get
the bits back in place having assembled them on the bench. Must have
been much more flexible with eyes that did not need glasses 18 years ago.

By the way if you do take the shockers and the steel plates LG05/Lg08
out they are handed when you refit them. If you do it the way I did
first time the gear will not come up! It does show it in the diagram
but we could find no specific mention in the manual.

The bushes just pressed out quite easily with a nut, bolt and small
washer. No heat required.

Regards

Pete

PS Carried on and rebuilt the outriggers, finished yesterday.

something of a struggle but doable in situ. We still have a little play in the
4 bushes of LG08, of interest more on the starboard side, and these will need
replacement soon also.
