Dave - mine is more than close - placing the C04 pipe so it will connect to the
header and the radiator results in it touching BOTH the side of the footwell
(only just forward of the rudder return spring retaining bolt) and a cluster of
the engine mount tubing. I guess it could be tied to the engine mount to avoid
chafing against it with engine vibration, and maybe the footwell surface is
smooth enough not to cause wear on the pipe even if it is rubbing against it.
Anyone else have any comments?
